Restaurant Nox ‘Cutting Edge Design’

Restaurant Nox, Salzburg, Austria

A striking finish on a stunning facade, is what you see on the signature entrance wall of the new restaurant Nox in Salzburg. The design consists of 40” x 120” porcelain tile veneer panels from the Kerlite collection manufactured by Italy’s Cotto D’Este. The building is constructed using metal framing, a weather barrier and exterior grade plywood sheathing as a substrate for 3/16” thick porcelain panels.

The panels are then anchored to the metal framing using mechanical fasteners.

As you can see (Above & Below) the curved porcelain veneer tile can be installed in a radius application and still retain all the traditional advantages of a through body porcelain veneer tile.
