SpecCeramics Supplies Cotto d’Este Porcelain Stone for the Bowers Museum
SpecCeramics Supplies BowersSpecCeramics Inc., industry leaders of providing high-quality stone products, supplied architect Robert Coffee of Robert R. Coffee Architect and Associates with Cotto d’Este Buxy series porcelain stone to complete a $12 million museum expansion project.

As a current replica of a limestone that has existed in nature for centuries, the Noisette (mocha-colored) porcelain stone is an authentic looking natural limestone that is less thick and more durable than natural limestone. The extra large 2’ x 3’ size of the porcelain stone is larger than normal porcelain, and its fully rectified body creates a clean square that looks like authentic stone.

“The Noisette color is the most authentic looking color to French limestone, of which the porcelain was made from,” said Gail Kelly of SpecCeramics. “It’s aesthetically pleasing and really looks like a natural stone. The 2’ x 3’ x ½” installs easily and looks very natural.”

The Bowers Museum now stands six times larger than its original structure, spanning its 30,000 square feet of exhibition space over almost four acres of land. Click here for more info.
