The 91 million dollar project was designed by the Irvine based LPA architects a long term client of SpecCeramics. The general contractor Douglass E. Barnhart was also impressed with the bush hammered stone veneer, due to it’s time saving thin set installation.
Porcelain stone tiles, supplied by the San Francisco office of SpecCeramics Inc., provided a very sustainable material that truly compliments the LEED certified buildings exterior façade as well as interior lobby walls.
Affectionately dubbed the IW Club, the new clubhouse which will be the centerpiece of the Indian Wells community also is slated for a January opening. This 53,000 square-foot Douglas Fredrickson-designed edifice will include a golf shop, sports bar and grill as well as other dining venues, meeting space and a stunning lobby.
It's the second hotel for the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, which bought downtown Palm Springs' 230-room Spa Hotel in 1992. The tribe has discussed plans eventually to demolish that hotel and turn it into a 10-story, 400-room resort.

When updating their corporate offices in Anaheim, California they chose
a clean contemporary look that included large format porcelain tile

SpecCeramics provides the right tile for projects of all sizes and types. The final choice was a 12” x 24” rectified porcelain tile in a warm tone to compliment the quartz countertop and minimalist cabinetry. The large tiles with small grout joints provide a continuous and unobtrusive feel to the room.
