Representatives for passing landmark energy and climate legislation
Friday that includes several significant provisions for incentives
accelerating the benefits of green building across the country.
The hospitality segment came later to the sustainability party than most in the contract sector, but it's catching up fast. Anna Marie Fanelli, a New Jersey designer, said, "We've seen sustainable or green design start commercially at the high end, but this isn't just a trend. It will become a mainstay at different levels of the market."
